Kim Wetzel has worked in the financial services industry for over 17 years. Her passion for working with seniors was the catalyst for her making a career change to Medicare Insurance. Kim’s husband, Jeff Wetzel, started Bridlewood Insurance and has built it into the award-winning Medicare insurance agency that it is today. As the business grew quickly, it became necessary for Jeff to hand off some of his responsibilities. Who better than Kim to take over servicing his 1,000+ clients, and keep adding to that number.

Kim loves her job, as it gives her deep satisfaction to meet with seniors and get to know about them, their families and their health concerns, and then help find them the best possible Medicare plan to meet their individual needs. She knows that the two most frequent questions almost all seniors have is, “do I have enough money to see me through retirement?” and “do I have the best health insurance to cover my needs?” With healthcare being such an important factor for her clients, there is no better feeling than to know that she helped them make an informed decision that is most appropriate for their particular situation.

Kim and Jeff have been married for 32 years, and have four grown children, Derek, Madison, Alexys and Whitney. Her family is close-knit, and can often be found together at concerts, bowling, traveling, or boating on San Diego’s lakes and bays.
